Ms. Scheer

I was born and raised in Springfield, Missouri and have lived here most of my life other than leaving to go to college at the University of Missouri-Columbia. My degree from Mizzou is in Business Education, grades 7-12. When I moved back to Springfield I attended Southwest Missouri State University to get certified in Math Education, grades 7-12. Then, during my first two years of teaching I attended night school at Evangel College to get my Middle School Certification. I have since taught all grades 6 through college level. This year will be my 15th year of teaching; my 7th year teaching 6th grade. I have 3 kids of my own, a 7th grade son and daughters in 10th and 11th grade, all who attend Ozark Schools. I am a firm believer in open communication so please contact me any time you have any questions or concerns!

I am truly excited for this year and feel honored to be an Ozark Tiger! This is my third year in the district, but my 6th year teaching, all grades 3-6. My husband, Brandon, and I have a little boy, Keaton, who is 2 and keeps us quite busy! We also have a black lab, Ruby, and a ragdoll cat, AnnaBelle. We are both very active people, who enjoy the outdoors, and anything water related- river, lake, pools, you name it. I really enjoy reading, crafting, going for a run, and traveling - When I have the time! I was raised in the area and graduated from Nixa. I received both my undergraduate (Elementary Education) and graduate (Special Reading) degrees from Drury University. I have a true passion for teaching and I can honestly say that I LOVE what I do!
