Math Update -
This year in 6th grade Math we are working on teaming and having more conversations about Math. Research shows the more you can talk about it, the better you learn it.
So last week we spent time learning the roles, the way the class runs, procedures, etc. We did this using Lesson 1 over finding the area of polygons since it is something they learned in 5th grade.
Our first unit summative over Geometry is planned for Friday, September 14th.
